Katy Perry: 'Girls Keep Asking me For a Kiss'

Katy Perry says girls keep request her for a kiss.

The singer -- whose single 'I Kissed a Girl' yesterday shot to the top of the UK charts -- says some of her fans seem to be taking the lyrics a little overly literally.

She reveals, "The job is girls now keep asking for a osculation. After every gig on my tour I stay behind to do an autograph signing. But about a 12 women testament want a snog. I just sweetly say, 'No, thank you'.

"If I kissed everybody wHO asked I'd probably go away with something I don't truly want!"

Katy -- who is dating Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy -- added, "I'm not a lesbian, I love hands. As for kissing a girl, I'm holding out for Megan Fox."

Katy's other song titles, including Ur So Gay and If You Can Afford Me, have umbrageous those in her native America.

But Katy reckons they just don't understand her sense of humor.

She added, "I love talking to Brits because you guys actually have a sense of humour. You interpret when Im saying stupid things."

JOURNEY

Revelation: B-

There’s no shame in trying to recapture a magic moment, but there is some in not doing it well. In its heyday, Journey created some of the most beloved of FM staples. Now, with the help of Arnel Pineda, a Journey cover band vet and yet another vocal dead-ringer for Steve Perry (previous efforts from Jeff Scott Soto and Steve Augeri were also impressive), the aging band gamely tries to reclaim its mojo. Neal Schon’s arena-rock guitar sounds great on classic pop-metal blasts such as “Never Walk Away” and “Like a Sunshower.” But Jonathan Cain’s retro synth wreaks hideous havoc on several overwrought power ballads. Still, with a second disc of re-recorded classics and a live DVD also included, it’s not a bad deal at $12. Download: “Like a Sunshower.”

Coldplay 'Viva La Vida' Album Leaks Online

Unfortunately for Coldplay - or more unfortunately for their struggling label EMI - the band's latest album 'Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends' has leaked, before its release next week.

After a few songs appeared online earlier this month, the entire long-player is now circulating torrent sites and P2P networks - ahead of the June 12th release.

EMI, which has had a well-publicised struggle since being taken over by private equity firm Terra Nova last year, was counting on the album to sell well in order to regain some of their dwindling finances.

Earlier this year, EMI announced they were to cut 2,000 jobs.

Sharon Stone - Sharon Stone Attacked For Karma Comments

Sharon Stone has been criticised in China after she suggested that the recent earthquake may have been caused by bad "karma".

The Basic Instinct actress had told reporters at the Cannes film festival that the disaster, which has claimed more than 67,000 lives, could have been a recrimination for China's human rights records in Tibet.

Her comments have been labelled "inappropriate" by filmmakers in the region, who have vowed to no longer screen her movies.

"I'm not happy about the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans, because I don't think anyone should be unkind to anyone else," he had told a Hong Kong film crew in an interview last week.

"And so, I have been very concerned about how to think and what to do about that because I don't like... that.

"I've been concerned about how we should deal with the Olympics, because they're not being nice to the Dalai Lama who is a good friend of mine," she continued.

"And then all this earthquake and all this stuff happened, and I thought, is that karma? When you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?"

Ng See-Yuen, chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Filmmakers and the founder of the UME Cineplex chain, was quoted by the Hollywood Reporter as saying Stone's comments were "inappropriate".

He said actors should not bring their personal beliefs to commenting on a disaster that has killed thousands and left five million people homeless and vowed that UME cinemas, which have branches in the lucrative movie markets of Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Hangzhou and Guangzhou, would no longer screen Stone's movies.

Cosmetic advertisements featuring the 50-year-old's image have been removed from Christian Dior boutiques in Beijing department stores, according to the Beijing Times newspaper and she has come in for significant criticism from Chinese websites.
